The homeowners in Heathrow, Florida wanted a kitchen remodel that would brighten their space and replace the heavy wood cabinetry and patterned wall treatment that made the kitchen feel dated. Their goal was a cleaner, lighter look that still worked with their existing layout and appliances. We focused on creating a fresh, cohesive design that felt current yet comfortable for everyday living.
For this kitchen remodel, we transformed the original honey-toned cabinetry by refinishing it in crisp white, instantly opening up the room visually. We paired the cabinetry with light quartz countertops featuring subtle veining and introduced a soft green subway tile backsplash for gentle color and texture. Updated cabinet hardware and under-cabinet lighting helped modernize the workspace while improving visibility and function. As with many Central Florida projects, Marilou Stones guided material selections to balance durability with a timeless palette suited to long-term use.
