Tavares is the county seat of Lake County and proudly calls itself “America’s Seaplane City” — a waterfront community built around Lake Dora and Lake Eustis with a growing downtown, a strong local identity, and a mix of charming waterfront homes, established neighborhoods, and newer developments on the outskirts. I understand the character of Tavares properties and how Florida’s climate shapes every design decision, from materials and finishes to color palettes and natural light.
I am not just a designer — I am a creative partner in your project. I am based in Winter Garden and serve Tavares homeowners, builders, and realtors who want spaces that look beautiful and function for real life. I understand the balance between honoring the character of a waterfront or established Tavares home and creating a fresh, modern interior that works for the way you live today.
Whether you are designing a forever home, renovating a property you have lived in for years, or furnishing a vacation rental that needs to impress from the first listing photo, I bring the same level of care and expertise to every project.
Tavares is a community with genuine local pride — a waterfront city that is growing while holding
on to the character that makes it special. Whether your style is modern and minimal,
warm, and traditional, or something entirely your own,
I design your vision — not mine.
From residential renovations and room refreshes to full home designs and commercial
interiors, Stones Design LLC brings award-winning design expertise
to every Tavares project.
Yes. I offer free in-home design consultations in Tavares. We will walk through your space together, discuss how you live and what you want to change, and provide expert guidance tailored to your home, style, and budget.
Timelines vary depending on the scope. A single-room refresh can take a few weeks, while a full home design or renovation project typically runs over several months. I provide a clear timeline at the start of every project, so you always know what to expect.
Yes. With 40 years of experience across Central Florida, I have worked on waterfront properties where the relationship between interior spaces and the views, light, and setting outside is central to the design. I understand how to make the most of a lakefront position through considered layouts, material choices, and color palettes that connect your interior with the landscape around it.
Ready to transform your space? Let’s talk about your
home and bring your vision to life — with a design that is
as functional as it is beautiful.
